Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is John O'Bannon and I'm a neurologist here in Richmond. Nine years ago, I ran for the Virginia House of Delegates. There, I am honored to represent people of the 73rd District, which includes portions of Henrico County and the City of Richmond. Here on my website you can learn more about me, my stands on the issues, my record, and what I’ve been able to accomplish for the people of my district and our Commonwealth. I have represented the citizens I serve by voting for limited government, a strong business climate, low taxes, and a strong public education system at all levels. During this year’s session of the Virginia General Assembly, we put a special emphasis on protecting and creating jobs, and growing our economy. I'm proud to say that we approved measures to strengthen economic development, promote tourism, and protect homeowners through sensible regulations of the mortgage broker industry. I am currently seeking reelection, and I would appreciate your support for my campaign and your vote on November 3.
